Have an easy time roaming around the city streets with the Apollo City's incredible performance made possible by its high-efficiency 600W brushless DC motor. When you're in a hurry, go up to top speeds of 40 kph and be able to climb hills of up to 15 degrees. The Apollo City has great acceleration and can even reach 25 kph (ave. speed limit) in 4.1 seconds, leaving traditional cyclists in the dust.

Plus, it's lightweight yet durable. At only 18 kg, it provides powerful performance and can even take on up to 120 kg (above average maximum load). Its amazing 48V 13.2Ah battery (with Dynavolt cells) can even take you to farther distances of up to 45 km in Eco mode. In standard conditions, you can still travel up to 45 km which is better than many commuter scooters today. The battery is even equipped with Smart power management to protect you from overcharging, overcurrent, short circuit, and more. And for charging? You can quickly the 8-hour charging time in half if you use a fast charger.

Let's be honest. Most city streets will have pesky bumps and potholes. With the Apollo City, you don't need to worry about those because of its impressive suspension (front spring suspension and rear dual spring suspension).

The Apollo City also takes your safety into account with its fantastic triple braking system composed of a front disc brake, a rear drum brake, and a motor electric regenerative brake. Even its lights come with extras. Besides the usual front and rear LED lights, this electric scooter also has a blue LED light on its stem and under the deck.

SHIPPING

Electric Kicks ships out your order through Priority Express couriers, free of charge, anywhere in Australia. No minimum order required. Generally orders are shipped the same day if ordered before 12pm.

Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, usual delivery time takes:

Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide - 1-2 days

Perth - 1-2 days (5-7 days if not shipped from our Perth warehouse)

What is the top speed of the Apollo City?

Yes, when the scooter arrives to you it will be locked to 25 kph. But you can easily unlock real top speed of 40kmh in the P Settings. You will need to adjust P08 to 100. Access the settings by holding the power and the mode button down at the same time.

Does the Apollo City have a 'zero start' function?

Yes, by default the Apollo City will accelerate as soon as you press the throttle, without kicking the scooter forward manually first.

Can the Apollo City's handlebars height be adjusted?

Yes, you can adjust the height of the handlebars higher or lower to suit the needs of the rider. The handlebars on the Apollo City also fold making it easy to carry and transport.

Is the Apollo City good for commuting? eg. to work / office

Yes it is perfect for this. The Apollo City has a great balance of power, speed, portability to make it a fantastic commuter scooter. Handle bars and stem are adjustable to fit in the Carvan, carboot, under a desk and more.

Does the Apollo City come with a charger?

Yes, the Apollo City comes with 1 regular charger. You can get an extra charger or a replacement fast charger to shorten charging time.

Does the Apollo City come with a thumb throttle?

The Apollo City comes with a trigger throttle, and is set to 'zero start' by default, which means you don't have to kick the scooter forward to accellarate

Do you do repairs for the Apollo City?

Is the Apollo City legal in Australia?

The Apollo City has three different riding modes to help you control your speed limit. You can easily comply with local guidelines if you ride on a mode that has a lower speed limit, like Gear 1. We recommend wearing a helmet at all times.

Does the Apollo City need to registered?

No, the Apollo City does not need to be registered.

How often should I charge the battery of my Apollo City?

You can choose to charge your battery either after every ride or when you get back home. It is recommended not to let the battery reach 0% before re-charging.

Do you have a phone mount that works with the Apollo City?

Yes, the Apollo Phone Holder we stock on the Electric Kicks website is compatible with the Apollo City and other Apollo scooters.

Why does the Apollo City have 2 charging ports?

The Apollo City has two charging ports because you have the option of using 2 regular chargers to reduce charging time. Similarly, you can get the shorter charging time by using 1 fast charger.

How do you use the Apollo City regular charger versus the fast charger?

The Apollo City comes with 1 regular charger which you can use to charge the scooter. It takes about 8 hours for it to fully charged. If you use 2 regular chargers at the same time, you can shorten the charge time to 4 hours. 1 fast charger can do the same 4 hours charging time, but it has to be used alone. Don't use 2 fast chargers at the same time.
