Powering the new Current REC is Aventon's Ultro S+ mid-drive motor. Delivering up to 100Nm of torque and support levels up to 400%, it provides smooth, responsive assistance exactly when you need it.
The mid-drive design creates a more natural riding feel than traditional hub motors, helping you maintain traction, control, and efficiency on steep climbs and technical terrain. Whether you're navigating rocky ascents or cruising along bike paths, power delivery feels intuitive and predictable.
Paired with a Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain, the Current REC is ready to tackle everything from challenging climbs to fast-flowing descents.
Designed as a true full-suspension eMTB, the Current REC features 140mm of travel front and rear to help absorb impacts and smooth out rough trails.
The X-Fusion suspension system keeps the bike steady over rocks, roots, and uneven terrain while improving comfort on longer rides. Combined with large 29-inch wheels and confidence-inspiring geometry, it delivers stable handling and excellent rollover capability across a wide range of conditions.
Powerful Magura hydraulic disc brakes with oversized 203mm rotors provide strong and consistent stopping performance, giving you greater confidence when descending or riding in changing conditions.
The Current REC is equipped with a high-capacity 800Wh removable battery designed to support longer rides and bigger adventures.
Offering up to 168 kilometres of range, it gives you the freedom to spend more time exploring and less time worrying about charging. Whether you're heading deep into the trails or using the bike throughout the week for commuting and recreation, the Current REC has the capacity to keep up.
When it's time to recharge, the battery can be fully replenished in approximately six hours.
