DESCRIPTION
The next-gen Aventon Aventure 3 brings smarter tech, improved comfort, and better security. Now, it's easier than ever to venture out without losing the rugged performance the Aventure is known for.
Key Features for 2025:
Also available in Step-Over version
With the new Aventure 3, you aren’t just getting off the beaten path – you’re owning it. Thanks to fat tyres, a suspension fork, and now an added suspension seatpost, it soaks up rough ground so you can explore without hesitation.
Plus, built-in GPS tracking, 4G connectivity, and a new rear wheel lock ensure you’re in full control no matter where you go.
Equipped with a 750W motor, the Aventure 3 delivers:
No matter where you ride, the Aventure 3 is ready.
Aventon’s most rugged ebike now comes with bigger brains to match its brawn. The all-new Aventon Control Unit (ACU) lets you track your bike, get alerts if it’s moved, and even lock it down remotely all from your phone.
Meanwhile, a cleaner, keyless battery setup allows cross-model compatibility. Now, your Aventure 3 battery will also work on the Abound SR, Abound LR, Level 3, and Pace 4.
The 750W rear hub motor delivers 80Nm of torque and a peak output of 1188W – more than enough to conquer steep inclines and soft surfaces like sand or snow. Paired with Aventon’s efficient torque sensor, the ride feel is always natural and responsive.
When it comes to range, with the Aventure 3’s 733Wh battery, you’ll get up to 104 kilometres on a full charge – a full upgrade from the Aventure 2’s 96-km limit.
Get the best of both worlds with Aventon’s Sensor Switch. Toggle between Torque and Cadence sensor to match your riding style. Whether you prefer natural pedal power or smooth cruising, the choice is always yours.
A new suspension seatpost with 50mm of travel adds a noticeable boost in comfort over long or rugged rides. Combined with the existing 80mm fork and fat tyres, the Aventure 3 makes even the roughest tracks feel butter-smooth.
Personalise your assist settings, torque response, and ride feel using the Aventon app. Whether you want snappy acceleration or a more laid-back cruise, Ride Tune lets you set your preferences and save them.
And with over-the-air updates, your bike automatically upgrades – no trip to the shop required.
The Aventure 3 weighs in at 34.5 kg and is rated to carry up to 181 kg. It features integrated lights and hydraulic disc brakes, and includes fenders and a rear rack. Built to IPX5 water-resistance standards, it’s fine in light rain or wet trails.
The Aventure 2 brought impressive range and performance to the trail, but the Aventure 3 takes things further. Upgrades include:

The built-in GPS in the Aventure 3 lets you check your bike’s location anytime in the Aventon app and get alerts if it moves without you.

When you're not riding, an integrated rear wheel lock gives your bike extra protection. Just tap the app or use the display to keep it secure.

Aventon’s Sensor Switch lets you ride your way by offering both Torque and Cadence sensors. Like having two bikes in one, you can optimise comfort and control on every ride.

Unlock and remove the battery right from the display—no keys needed. The battery also works across models like the Abound SR, Abound LR, Level 3, and Pace 4.

Customise your ride feel through the Aventon app by adjusting torque, assist levels, and pedal response across the three pedal assist modes.

Your bike stays current with the latest features and improvements, thanks to automatic updates delivered through the display. No shop visit needed!
Very happy with the Adventure 3, I am only 165cm tall which a short in seam and purchased the regular. It’s a big bike, despite being advertised as suitable. If I stand in the step through position the handle bars are almost the same height as my shoulders. I would recommend for people under 160cm, but specs say it’s ok.
Sitting position is very comfortable and more upright that previous bike. The big thing for me was range. In Eco mode I have over 100km which allows for higher assistance levels on a longer ride with no fear of battery drain.
The bike is very well build and worth the money, hope the dealer continues to resell this brand as I can see upgrading in the future.

I previously owned a Smartmotion eCity which was perfect for flat suburban areas but when I moved to Glenalta, Adelaide, I needed a different kind of eBike. One that could climb very steep and winding hills without me tiring out while trying to get to the top and the Aventure 2 is almost perfect for this job. I prefer a 21/2 or 3 inch tyre rather than the very fat 4 inch tyres but there was no ebike I saw online with the Aventure 2's power that had smaller tyres.
Aventon Aventure.2 Step Through Electric Bike
Although a little heavy, it is sturdy, has been reliable over tough ground, and the battery lasts as long as they say. I paid $5k for my last bike, which got stolen, and the Aventon is much more comfortable and more enjoyable to ride. Has been as amazing as all the reviews say.
One of my first rides and the tyre slipped in the mud, I crashed got stitches. But also the crank arm broke :(

The inseam is the measurement from the crotch of the pants to the bottom of the leg. It is a key measurement to determine the length of the pants. The inseam is important because it determines how long the pants will be and how they will fit. It is important to measure the inseam correctly to ensure that the pants fit properly.
Aventure 3 Step-Through Ebike is available in 2 sizes to suit most adults.

The new Aventon Aventure 3 comes with a longer range (104 km vs. 97 km), a more efficient battery (733Wh vs. 720Wh), and increased theft deterrence care of the new Aventon Control Unit with GPS and 4G capabilities.
Cadence sensor is cheaper and more common but harder to control. It essentially feels more like an on/off switch. On the other hand, a torque sensor offers a more natural riding assistance, as it syncs with your pedaling effort. Riding a bike with a torque sensor feels much closer to riding a regular bicycle, providing better control and smoother power delivery. Read more about the difference here: https://www.electrickicks.com.au/blogs/e-scooter-life/cadence-sensors-vs-torque-sensors-whats-the-difference
Yes, you can ride your Aventure 3 in throttle mode. Please take note that the speed limit for throttle mode is limited to 32 kph (as opposed to 45 kph on Pedal Assist).
Yes. In case you want to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited, you can operate your Aventure 3 with the throttle unplugged and removed.
Aventon's e-bike lineup, excluding the Sinch, Pacem and Abound models, includes step-over and step-through options. Step-over bikes are designed for more efficient pedalling and have a more aggressive, sportier aesthetic. Meanwhile, step-through bikes are easier to mount and dismount and offer a comfortable upright riding position. Choose a step-over frame if you value performance over comfort, or choose a step-through frame if you need your ride to be more accessible.
The Aventure 3 comes in two sizes: Regular and Large. Choose Regular if you are between 5'3” - 5'10” tall. Choose Large if you are 5'10” - 6'4” tall.
The Aventure 3 goes as fast as 45 kph on pedal assist and 32 kph on throttle mode.
Under ideal riding conditions, the Aventure 3 can cover up to 104 km on a single charge.
With an IPX5 water-resistance rating, the Aventon Aventure 3 is resistant to water splashes from any direction and can handle light rain and shallow puddles without sustaining damage.
The Aventon Aventure 3 is a fat-tyre electric bike that is designed to handle soft terrain like sand and snow, gravel roads, dirt paths, and uneven off-road trails.
The Aventon Aventure 3 comfortably accommodates up to 181 kg in rider weight. Remember to add 10% on top of your body weight to account for clothing and any baggage you may be carrying (i.e. 100KG + 10% = 110KG).
Charging from zero to 100% takes approximately 5 hours.
Yes, the Aventon Aventure 3 is certified in accordance with UL 2271 and UL 2849.
Most lithium-ion batteries are expected to last for 2-4 years However, they are also known to last longer depending on rider use.
The main clue as to the Aventure's purpose is in the name: Adventure. It's a rugged & durable ride designed for trails and riding over rough terrain. Note, however, that at nearly 35 KG, it is not a mountain bike and will not spark joy flying down the side of a black run. It's like an offroad 4X4: load it up with a tent and a backpack and venture off into the woods. Or attach a surfboard to it and go to the beach. Or skis, and visit the snow. If that's what you plan on doing with it, then yes, the Aventure is right for you.
While the Aventure 3 can be used as a commuter, that's not what it was really designed for. It's a big, bulky, and heavy e-bike. While that is certainly comfortable, if you need to carry it anywhere, hang it from a bike rack, or put it on public transport, it will likely just get in the way. If you're after a commuter e-bike, check out the Aventon Level 3 or, for a lightweight option, the Aventon Soltera 2.5.
The Aventon Aventure 3 has three levels of pedal assist.
The Aventure 3 is equipped with a front suspension fork with 80mm travel and a suspension seatpost with 50mm travel.
The Aventure 3 uses hydraulic disc brakes.
Yes, the Aventon Aventure 3 has a complete lighting system that consists of a front light, rear lights, and turn signals.
Yes, built-in turn signals have been integrated into the Aventure 3.
The Aventon Aventure 3 has 26x4 puncture resistant tyres.
Yes, the official app for Aventon Aventure 3 is the Aventon app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices.
Aventon recommends wiping down chainrings, cassette, and derailleur pulleys, checking and tightening the crankset, and inspecting brake pads weekly. Please check the tyre sidewalls for the recommended PSI.
Power it off and choose a cool and dry indoor location. Do not store in excessively cold or hot environments, and avoid storing your Aventon Aventure 3 outdoors for extended periods. Store the bike upright and avoid hanging it by the handlebars or seatpost. Remember to fully charge your battery if you are going to be storing your Aventure 3 for longer than 4 weeks.
If you intend to store the Aventon Aventure 3 for an extended period, be sure not to leave the battery attached to the bike frame. Remove it from your ebike, and remember to charge the battery to a 75-80% range. Leaving it completely discharged can damage the battery. Afterwards, keep checking to make sure the battery percentage doesn't drop under 75%.
