After searching melbourne for stock of a segway nine bot or the skywalker 8s. I eventually purchased the Skywalker 8s. The Skywalker 8s is a beast of a scooter and so happy electrickicks opinion was spot on. The scooter is awesome to ride with both power and range on a full battery . At night it lights up like a Xmas tree ensuring others on the road see you.

overall i gave 4 stars. mostly its a strong reliable scooter with great range....but the charger port was faulty...and a pin was depressed....had to remove it and glue it back in place. for such a high price...i would have expected exceptional quality controls at the factory.
