While both are manufactured by Pure Electric, the lightweight Pure Air line takes a more conventional electric scooter design, while the revolutionary Pure Advance line adopts a forward-facing riding stance.

Instead of a flat deck or platform, the Pure Advance has two footpads across a central chassis. This allows the rider to place both feet side-by-side (in contrast to traditional e-scooters that require placing one foot in front of the other). The result is a forward-facing stance for better balance and stability.
