Segway Ninebot GT 2 Electric Scooter

Took an absolute age to get here, but that’s the downside of living in WA! I knew that the Segway GT2 wasn’t the fastest scooter on the market, and I knew it didn’t have the farthest range! But it is way quick enough for my liking, it has the capability to take me further than I ever need to go and the build quality is second to none!!! I’m a big guy, 110kgs, and this scooter whisks me along without the slightest hint of struggle, I love it and am so happy I bought it! I have read a lot of negativity regarding the cost, but in my view, if you want quality, superior merchandise, you’ve got to pay for it!!!!!!

This was my first electric scooter I have bought. I bought the Segway 🛴 GT2 from electric kicks around 5 weeks ago, and let me tell you I have no regrets. I had done a lot of research on different scooters and went down to their shop and they let me test ride a handful of different scooters and I just felt the quality Segway GT- 2 and I instantly knew this was the one ☝️ the raw power and stability it’s second to none.

These guys are phenomenal 👏🏼 best prices on the market, so if you’re looking for an electric scooter, look no further these guys will look after you. I had brake that didn’t feel right and I call them up and they told me to bring it in and they fixed it for me without questions.

My wisdom is this: sure, you can buy anything online but if there is something wrong with it then what ? And if your spending thousands on something then you want to know that your being looked after.The whole team is super helpful and I have been amazing by the after service support I have received and it is the best I’ve ever seen. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

This thing is insane but amazing.
No regrets

I have owned a number of electric scooters, and sadly the build quality of most of them was pathetic. These were high profile, high power models and when I had a flat tyre I was forced to look at the wiring of one of these: it was tragic, complete with spaghetti wiring, some wires were way too small (the power line to the rear motor melted all the way into the motor) absolutely doomed to failure, and it did fail— it was hardly ever on boost. Someone at the factory ran out of the proper wire and said I don’t give a stuff, just put something in there. This same unit had NO seal on lid of battery box. In other words, no water protection at all.

In contrast the GT2 is beautifully made and assembled, much to the same standard as a Japanese motorbike, which is to say very good in deed. It rides beautifully, has wonderful brakes, and the best instruments I’ve seen. It is hard to believe that the quality you can see on the outside is not going to be matched by the wiring etc. on the inside.

I will update this review in six months time but I have to say first impressions and second ones are very good.

It really saddens me that some high-end electric scooters are being made with absolutely no quality control and that is a complete disgrace

At this stage, the Segway looks to be the absolute antithesis of this.
