• Terrain: Is your location hilly? How steep are the inclines? Inclines & steep hills force your scooter to work harder. Thus, more power is drawn from the battery by the motor. The more hills you face, the more power is drawn, and the shorter your range.
• Rider Weight: The heavier the rider, the harder the motors have to work to move the e-scooter. This draws more power from the battery as well.
• Tyre Pressure: Make sure your tyres are always properly inflated to minimise rolling resistance or rolling friction, which opposes the scooter’s movement and forces it to work harder to move forward. Rolling resistance increases with underinflated tyres, leading to reduced range and faster wear and tear.

• Riding Style: Finally, the way you ride your electric scooter will also impact its range. For starters, faster and more aggressive riding styles tend to consume more power, which often leads to a shorter range. On the other hand, slower and more conservative riding increases your range.
