And the best part? The Apollo Explore features a 52V 18.2Ah battery (with Dynavolt cells) that allows for exceptional range (max. of 55 km). For a city scooter, that's well above average! All this high-quality performance and the e-scooter doesn't even weigh that heavy at only 23 kg.
Its battery is also equipped with Smart power management to keep it safe from short circuit, overcurrent, and overcharging. And if you don't have the time for the 9-hour charging, use a fast charger to cut it down to 4.5 hours.

Electric Kicks ships out your order through Priority Express couriers, free of charge, anywhere in Australia. No minimum order required. Generally orders are shipped the same day if ordered before 12pm.

It's the perfect compromise between the popular, sleek, urban mover in the Segway Ninebot Max and the new, powerful, innovative Apollo Phantom. Plenty of speed and distance at a sensible price. Big tick too for Joe, Chris and the crew at Electric Kicks who went above and beyond in their service and follow up.
The Explore is a great scooter, and is pretty much exactly as described in the advertising and reviews - which is a good thing.
For the paths and roads around here it is excellent, as there are a lot of bumps, potholes, concrete edges etc. the bigger wheels and suspension mean these don’t throw you off line.
Only negatives, which I sorta knew when I bought it, are size and weight. Folded up it is still big and difficult to get into the car etc. the weight makes it hard to put into tricky spaces like back seats of hatchbacks. I suggest you really take this into account if looking to buy one, and ask if a smaller, easier scooter might be better.
Even with the size and weight I am very happy with my choice, as the advantages are worth it for me.

Great service and communication
Chris is the man. You won't find any man more passionate about scooters than this man. We dropped by the Melbourne warehouse a couple weeks ago to try some scooters before making the first big purchase. Ended up ordering the Apollo Explore and it is game changer. After the first test ride with the Apollo Explore, there was definitely so much to love about the scooter. The speed, suspension and handling all felt balanced and suitable for my level of riding experience! Coming from a Segway E25, the Apollo Explore was understandably a huge a step up on all levels but what I do appreciate that was the same is the folding mechanism; a simple (and quick) press on a lever and it instantly folds. But regardless of how good a product can be, a massive factor for this purchase was the helpful and friendly advice from Chris (the owner). Initially, I had intentions to purchase the Apollo Ghost but after some test rides and a discussion with Chris, the Apollo Explore was the way to go. So the gesture of being recommended a less expensive scooter to suit the needs of the rider is an amazing show of customer care over profits! Will definitely be returning to Electric Kicks for future purchases/upgrades!
